My love affair with the tiny pink iPod Nano is over. It belongs to Mama now. My MacBook has a new younger sibling!

I finally got one of my own after “hijacking” Cy’s cube for weeks. 
The orange side on his cube has faded to almost yellow, which can be confusing for a beginner like me who just started learning to solve it.
You could say this is my latest fad hobby. 
(I’m over the card memory game phase already, haha.)
Bought the exam voucher for the Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 5 certification (woah, what a mouthful). It’s been almost 4 years since I passed the Sun Certified Programmer for the Java Platform, Standard Edition 1.4 certification, so I’ll need to spend some real effort getting up to speed for this one. The plan is to start serious studying in the second week of November, then schedule the exam for end of January 2009, before the academic semester begins.
By the way, this is part of the “top secret” short-term career plan I mentioned before.

Congratulations again to my dearest friend on her graduation! With first class honours, two gold medals & a book prize, no less. 
And I’m not saying this just because I love her & I’m biased, but she is brilliant. ^_^

Don’t ask why my 연애시대 (Alone in Love) DVD and Japanese / Korean albums are there. (I’m just too lazy to put them back after I’m done with them.) My new school textbooks are arriving by courier tonight, so I’ll have to reorganise & make space on my desk. X_x

Spacious, isn’t it? Perfect for spreading out all those papers & books when I’m studying or working on my assignments & projects. The situation got quite desperate last semester when I had all those papers to work on, so I decided that a revamp of my work area was in order. The desk still needs to be decluttered though, but that has to wait till I get a drawer unit.
